Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Noni Madueke and are considering approaching Chelsea to reach a deal to sign the England striker.
The 23-year-old is one of many striker targets Arsenal are considering as coach Mikel Arteta wants to increase the firepower of the attack.
And while the Gunners have decided Real Madrid's Rodrygo as their top left winger, the talk of a Madueke transfer has not stopped.
The Chelsea winger is one of the few players who could leave Stamford Bridge at a bargain price this summer.
Although there have been no official talks on a transfer with Chelsea, The Athletic reported that Madueke has now agreed terms with Arsenal before the possibility of leaving.

Arsenal are considering whether to approach Madueke as Arteta wants to add depth to the right wing of the attack.
Chelsea are said to be valuing Madueke at around £50 million. This could be a problem for Arsenal, who also want to sign a No. 9 player and a left winger. The Gunners are also chasing Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze and are still dependent on the budget.
Madueke's future at Stamford Bridge remains uncertain, despite a successful 2024-25 season for the Blues. This player scored 11 goals and 5 assists after 45 appearances.
Madueke joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023 and has a contract until the summer of 2030 after signing a long-term contract.
However, coach Enzo Maresca has hinted that Chelsea will not hinder Madueke or any other player if they want to leave.
When asked about the speculation surrounding Madueke's move to Arsenal, Maresca replied: "Noni has been very important for us this season. Today, once again, he is important.
But my message to the players and the club is that I just want the players to feel happy to be with us.
The players who are not happy have the right to leave. Not only Noni, but for all the players we have. But again, Noni played very well throughout last season as well as tonight."

Maresca's statement is seen as a "green light" for Arsenal to speed up the progress of the deal.
Arteta wants to find a quality backup for Bukayo Saka - who often had fitness problems last season.
In addition, Madueke can also compete for a position on the opposite wing in the context of the Gunners needing to increase the depth of the squad.
Madueke promises to bring a new breeze to the Emirates if the two teams can agree on a transfer fee in the coming days.
As for Chelsea, they also want to cut the number of players as The Blues are still constantly bringing in new players.
