Chelsea prepares to exchange bombs with Bayern Munich

Chelsea are in early talks with Bayern Munich over a possible swap deal for strikers Christopher Nkunku and Mathys Tel.

Mathys Tel impressed at Bayern last season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in 30 Bundesliga appearances. However, under coach Kompany, he has only started two games and has yet to score. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tel has spoken to Kompany about his future.

According to BILD, Chelsea are looking to sign Mathys Tel. They are willing to use their own players to make the exchange, with the most impressive name being Nkunku. The French striker has scored 13 goals this season, but has not been used much in the Premier League.

In fact, Bayern Munich also has reasons to choose Christopher Nkunku. The former Leipzig star has impressed in the Bundesliga, scoring 47 goals and 43 assists in 119 Bundesliga matches. Obviously, the French striker will not waste time reintegrating into Germany's number 1 league.

At Chelsea, coach Enzo Maresca also showed the difficulty of using Nkunku: “The only thing I said from the beginning is that it is difficult to use many players. If Joao Felix plays, it means Cole Palmer does not play, or if Joao plays, he has to play with Cole, but it depends on the game.

“For me it’s easy, we have three players who are more or less the same, Joao and Cole and Christo. Joao has played some games, Christo has played, both of them played against Ipswich, Southampton and Leicester. In a few games they can play together but most of the time it’s very difficult.”
