On the afternoon of March 14 (Vietnam time), coach Thomas Tuchel announced the England squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in March.
This is also the first time coach Tuchel has selected a list of 26 players since taking charge.
In this group, there are 2 players called up to the Three Lions for the first time: Newcastle defender Dan Burn and Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly.
In addition, Jordan Henderson, Marcus Rashford and Reece James will return to the squad after being left out of the previous list.
Tuchel seems to have a preference for more experienced players. Except for 6 young stars including James Trafford (22), Tino Livramento (22), Levi Colwill (22), Jarell Quansah (22), Morgan Rogers (22) and Cole Palmer (22), all of the remaining players are at least 24 years old.
Tuchel's debut match against Albania will take place at Wembley Stadium on 21 March, before facing Ukraine (March 15).
