According to initial information, at around 4:30 a.m. on August 8, at Nhat Tan bridge area (from the city center to Noi Bai International Airport), a traffic accident occurred between a car and a motorbike.
After receiving the report, Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 coordinated with Road Traffic Police Team No. 15 (Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police) and other functional units to send officers to the scene to protect, direct traffic and clarify the cause of the incident.
Initially, the authorities determined that the accident caused the death of the motorbike driver. The vehicles involved were damaged.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, the above accident caused serious traffic congestion in the Nhat Tan bridge area (from Lotte Mall Tay Ho to the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap - National Highway 5, about 5km long).
