After nearly 1 year playing for Man United, center back Harry Maguire has made objective comments, pointing out the best player of the team.
"I've talked a lot about Marcus Rashford but it's never enough. He is the most talented player I have ever played with. I don't want to put pressure but I believe Rashford will contribute a lot to Man United," Harry Maguire shared with United's podcast.
Moving to Man United in the summer of 2019 for up to 80 million pounds, Harry Maguire became a reliable "block" in coach Ole Solskjaer's squad. He was also trusted by his teammates and coaching staff as captain after Ashley Young moved to Inter Milan.
Although he is playing a good role both professionally and mentally, Harry Maguire has also thought about predicting the next captain of Man United.
"Marcus Rashford can completely take on the captain's armband. The captain is the one with a voice and influence on the team, Rashford possesses this.
Marcus has been fighting for the club and is currently out due to a serious injury. However, he is always trying, even ready to play even if he is not in the best condition. Rashford is the future of Man United and we hope to quickly regain form after injuries," Harry Maguire added.
Before being injured, Rashford was in good form with 19 goals in all competitions. The English striker is currently the most "opposite" striker of M.U in the 2019/20 season. Therefore, Rashford is expected to return to the pitch soon to bring the "Red Devils" to a safe finish in the final part of the season.
