Dak Lak - Many workers have been supported by trade unions for free health check-ups.

On May 8, the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor announced that on the occasion of Workers' Month 2025, the unit has organized a free health check-up program for workers working at Tan An Industrial Cluster (Buon Ma Thuot city).

Of which, 300 workers were supported by a business - a unit to sign a cooperation agreement with the Provincial Labor Federation to conduct free cancer screening tests and health consultations.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, a union member of Tay Nguyen Durian Joint Stock Company, shared: getting free health check-ups helps workers save costs and spend more resources to take care of their families. Many of us, due to the pressure of making a living, often have little opportunity to care about our health.

Ms. Phuong also added: Especially for women, this is an opportunity to be examined and detected for diseases early. Thereby, timely treatment and health insurance are ensured to complete the assigned work well".

During this year's Workers' Month, the Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor also directed trade unions at all levels to coordinate with authorities, functional sectors, unions and enterprises to carry out many meaningful and practical activities.

Outstanding programs include: "Creative workers, firmly entering the new era"; "May Dialogue"; Forum "Party with workers - Workers with the Party"; "Thanks to workers" program.

The program also launched the Peak Month for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions and introducing outstanding union members who are workers to consider joining the Party.
