Just a few hours after terminating his contract with the Football Association of Thailand (FAT), coach Masatada Ishii posted a noteworthy article on his personal page.
"I was called by FAT at 10am this morning to review the two matches against Taiwan (China). However, after the evaluation process ended, I suddenly received information 'Your contract will terminate today'. The reason is that they want to change the national team lineup.
I couldn't contain my emotions so I agreed and said that I would talk to her again next time. I do not agree to sign it. And then in the afternoon, the dismissal notice was issued. What a dishonest people.
I would like to sincerely thank everyone for supporting the Thai national team until now," coach Masatada Ishii wrote.

Previously, on the afternoon of October 21, the Football Association of Thailand announced that the two sides had terminated their labor contracts from today. SiamSport newspaper also reported that the two sides agreed to the decision after a meeting at the federation headquarters.
The reason is said to be that Mr. Ishii's approach and coaching methods are no longer in line with the long-term development orientation of Thai football.
According to the FAT technical department, Mr. Ishii's coaching style does not meet expectations in building the team in a new direction.
In terms of achievements, since taking over the Thai team, coach Ishii has only achieved a win rate of 53%, with 16 wins out of a total of 30 matches. This number is not enough to convince to maintain the trust of experts.
Currently, FAT is urgently looking for a replacement face to promptly lead the Thai team in the upcoming FIFA Days.
