The 2025 Autumn Fair is a national trade promotion event chaired by the Prime Minister assigned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vingroup Corporation, the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) and ministries, branches and localities to organize events throughout the VEC space.
According to Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the organization of the 2025 Autumn Fair is being urgently implemented by ministries, branches, localities and related organizations on schedule, ensuring that it can be rehearsed at 7:00 p.m. on October 24, 2025, the opening ceremony will be held at 8:00 p.m. on October 25, 2025, and broadcast live on VTV1 channel.
Informing about the organization, Mr. Vu Ba Phu said that currently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Hanoi People's Committee and Vingroup/VEC Group and relevant agencies to build and submit to the Steering Committee for detailed scripts, staging and operating the central stage. In particular, regarding security measures for the Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony, the Ministry of Industry and Trade worked with the K01 Security Department, the Ministry of Public Security to provide specific information and develop a security plan according to regulations.
Regarding the opening ceremony, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has developed a specific work assignment for relevant agencies and organizations and will hold a meeting on Monday, October 20, 2025. Regarding the organization of outdoor food areas, implement the direction of the Steering Committee at the meeting on October 12, 2025 at the Government Office on assigning Vingroup/VEC Group solutions for water supply and drainage. Currently, VEC reported that it has a solution to add a drainage line close to each kitchen area of participating units (2 units share 1 drainage area).
According to People's Artist Nguyen Xuan Bac, Director of the Department of Performing Arts, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as of the afternoon of October 19, under the close direction of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister as well as ministries, branches, the Department of Performing Arts has worked with singers and artists in a spirit of service and dedication, many singers have confirmed their attendance at the opening ceremony of the Fair.
Many singers have canceled previous programs to confirm their attendance at the opening and closing ceremony of the 2025 Autumn Fair. This is a remarkable effort by the artists. Accordingly, many famous artists will participate such as: My Tam, Phuong My Chi, Vo Ha Tram, Dong Hung...
According to the schedule, the Director of the Department of Performing Arts reported, the script of the Opening Ceremony, the music and art program will last about 20 minutes to open, the Department of Performing Arts has carefully prepared for this event. Although held outdoors, in a huge space, the sound quality is not guaranteed as in the studio, the Department of Performing Arts has coordinated and invited leading experts from Vietnam to research and design each corner to ensure the highest goal of having the best sound and light quality, said People's Artist Xuan Bac.
The 2025 Autumn Fair has the theme "Connecting people with production and business" taking place from October 25 to November 4, 2025 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center.
The fair has a total exhibition area of over 130,000 m2, 5 thematic sub-areas and over 3,000 booths, with the participation of 34 provinces and cities; central ministries, branches, along with thousands of large enterprises, cooperatives and corporations of Vietnam. At the same time, it attracts a large number of international partners and businesses to exhibit, trade and seek cooperation opportunities.
During the event, the fair is expected to welcome an average of 500,000 visitors per day, demonstrating the strong attraction of an event of national and regional stature.
