Entering the second half, the more the away team played, the better they were and continuously created dangerous opportunities. In the 66th minute, Wirtz broke the offside trap and crossed the ball smoothly for Gakpo to easily tap the ball in to increase the score to 4-1.
Just 4 minutes later, the fifth goal came. This time, Wirtz continued to assist with a simple push, allowing Szoboszlai to launch a dangerous long-range shot, sealing the score at 5-1 for Liverpool.
This resounding victory not only helped Liverpool end a streak of 4 consecutive losses in all competitions, but also brought them up to 10th place in the Champions League rankings.
