Manchester United will travel to Arsenal without Luke Shaw, who picked up an injury ahead of the game. New manager Ruben Amorim hopes the England defender can make his first start since taking over.
However, Shaw has confirmed that he will be out for a few more weeks. Shaw is one of several Man United stars who will miss the trip to London.
Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo both picked up yellow cards in the win over Everton and will serve one-match bans. However, Leny Yoro could make his competitive debut for the Manchester side after months on the sidelines.
The Red Devils' summer signing has been injured in pre-season and has not featured for the club since his move from Lille. Amorim is keen to get the teenage defender going and has stressed his excitement at seeing Yoro back.
"Maybe Leny Yoro will be in the squad. I feel like he's in a good moment, his fitness is better, so I think he'll be in the squad.
We haven't had many training sessions together. He doesn't train alone, he trains with a small group of players. He's really quick and a modern defender. That's important when you want to press high. I think Yoro is a special talent but we have to be careful in these first moments," said the Portuguese tactician.
The Emirates has not been a happy place for Man United in recent years. They have conceded three goals in their last three games at the Emirates but will be confident after a 4-0 win over Everton at the weekend. Marcus Rashford, in particular, is showing signs of a resurgence.
Rashford is expected to feature in Amorim's attack alongside Rasmus Hojlund and Bruno Fernandes. Meanwhile, Manuel Ugarte is looking to make his mark in midfield. The Uruguayan played for Sporting Lisbon under Amorim two years ago.
As for Amad Diallo, the player has proven himself to be an excellent full-back since Amorim adopted a new tactical system, with Diogo Dalot operating on the other flank.
A win for the "Red Devils" will help them close the gap with Arsenal to 3 points. After a terrible start to the season, they are eager to return with a breath of fresh air from Amorim.
Expected lineup for Man United vs Arsenal: Onana, Mazraoui, De Ligt, Maguire, Amad, Ugarte, Casemiro, Dalot, Fernandes, Hojlund, Rashford.
The match between Arsenal and Man United takes place at 3:15 am on December 5 (Vietnam time).
