Accordingly, disciplinary action in the form of reprimand was taken against Mr. Tran Duc Quy - Vice Chairman of Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee - due to violations and shortcomings in his work and Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee has taken disciplinary action against the Party.
The disciplinary period is calculated from the date of announcement of Decision No. 1701-QD/TU dated November 13, 2024 of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee on party discipline enforcement.
On November 11, 2024, the Standing Committee of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee and the Executive Committee of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee reviewed and decided to discipline 3 Party organizations and 8 cadres and Party members who violated the principle of democratic centralism, Party regulations, and working regulations.
At the same time, violating the State's laws in leading, directing, advising, proposing, organizing appraisal, deciding on investment, bidding, and implementing the target program on education in mountainous areas, ethnic minority areas, and areas with special difficulties in the period 2016-2020, causing serious consequences, wasting a large amount of State money and assets.
The Executive Committee of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline Mr. Tran Duc Quy - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Member of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - by reprimand. At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee approved the policy of early retirement for Mr. Tran Duc Quy - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Member of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
