Arsenal are currently the only unbeaten team at home in the Premier League this season. However, looking at their most recent performance against Man United in the FA Cup, Gunners fans will not be able to rest easy.
Despite having one more player from the middle of the second half, they could not overcome Man United in 120 minutes, eventually losing bitterly on penalties.
Before that, the Gunners also lost to Newcastle in the first leg of the English League Cup semi-final at home. Arsenal's biggest problem is not taking advantage of opportunities. Perhaps the team needs to consider finding another striker in the January transfer window.
Mikel Arteta's men are currently second in the Premier League, six points behind Liverpool but having played one game more. That gap means the Gunners cannot afford to drop points for the rest of the season if they hope to catch up with the Reds.
On the other side, Tottenham are also causing great disappointment, having just had to struggle to defeat the team from the 5th division in the FA Cup. They did not score a single goal against Tamworth throughout 90 minutes and had to bring on key players in extra time to win 3-0.
Not to mention, Postecoglou's side will travel to the Emirates having picked up just one point from their last four Premier League games, and are still in the bottom half of the table, despite scoring 42 goals.
This North London derby is unlikely to be a very close affair, as both teams have 120 minutes of FA Cup action this weekend. The players' physical and mental health will be affected.
