Personal mistakes, inaccurate passing, poor disputes and the team's failure to react properly to difficulties are the reasons pointed out by coach Thomas Frank after Tottenham's 0-3 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
The Spurs captain admitted that there was "a storm in me" when talking about trying to curb emotions after a "bad and uncomfortable performance", which led to a heavy defeat for the team.
Despite going into the match with a three-match unbeaten streak in all competitions, the defeat at City Ground still caused Tottenham to experience their worst start in the Premier League in 17 years.
After finishing 17th last season under Ange Postecoglou, Spurs continue to sink in the bottom half of the rankings and are currently only in 11th place.

In the post-match press conference, Frank was asked whether he believed he would be given enough time to get Tottenham back on track.
The Danish captain frankly shared: "I think this is quite clear. If not given time, no one will be able to turn the situation around. This is not an problem that can be solved overnight."
During the performance analysis, Frank also mentioned the long-standing problems within the team, when Tottenham faced many difficulties last season, despite still being crowned in the Europa League.
Frank believes that the way Spurs react to conceding a goal is a systematic problem for the whole team. "Such failures cannot affect us so much. Can't just let one goal fall into disarray," he said as he explained how the team lost the game after Forest's opener.
According to the Danish strategist, the core is to "keep the structure strong, stick to the plan and continue to do the right thing". "This is not the first time we have seen that - this year, last year or any other season," he stressed.
Frank affirmed that this is an problem that he is continuing to work with his students to overcome, with the goal of long-term stability for Tottenham.

Notably, Gray's mistake marked the fifth time a Spurs player has made a direct mistake leading to a goal loss in the Premier League this season, the number only behind the bottom team Wolves (seven). Tottenham were also the team that benefited the most from their mistakes, with 20 fouls leading to shots.
Incuracy continued to be a problem throughout Spurs' performance against Forest. The North London team has only passed the ball accurately at 79%, the fourth lowest in the league this season.
The "Roosters" currently have only six days left to solve a series of problems before hosting Liverpool. No short-term solution? Frank must find an immediate solution, otherwise the prolonged instability could cause Tottenham to once again lose the entire Premier League season.
