On the evening of December 29, the second leg of the semi-final match between Vietnam and Singapore in the ASEAN Cup 2024 took place at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho). Thousands of fans lined up to enter the stadium very early to support the "Golden Star Warriors".
Joining in the atmosphere of football fans, singer Tuan Hung and former player Hong Son were also present at Viet Tri Stadium, continuing the campaign to support the Vietnamese team.
On his personal page, Tuan Hung said: "I told Huy Tuan that tomorrow I will go to Hanoi to cheer for the team in the second leg of the semi-final. He said that in a few days I will also go to watch the final."
Before that, in the group stage match against Indonesia, former player Hong Son, singer Hoang Hiep, Ha Le, ST Son Thach, Cuong Seven and Dinh Tien Dat were also present in Phu Tho to cheer on coach Kim Sang-sik and his team.
In the first leg of the semi-final, Vietnam won 2-0 against their opponents, gaining an advantage before entering the match at Viet Tri Stadium. However, this is still not a safe score.
The "Golden Star Warriors" need to be careful and take advantage of opportunities on the field to avoid being turned around by the opponent. Vietnam needs at least a draw or a win to qualify for the next round.
In case of defeat, Quang Hai and his teammates are only allowed to lose by at least 1 goal (1-2, 2-3, 0-1...) to have a chance to participate in the final. In addition, if Singapore wins Vietnam by 2 goals (2-0, 4-2, 3-1...), then the results after 2 matches are equal and the two teams will have to go into extra time to determine the winner.
