After more than 16 years of association, central defender Bui Tien Dung has officially extended his contract with The Cong Viettel club until 2027. From a 14-year-old boy who joined the youth training center, the player born in 1995 has matured and become an icon of the army team.
Together with The Cong Viettel, Bui Tien Dung won the 2018 First Division championship, helping the team return to the V.League after many years of absence. Two years later, he continued to make a great contribution to the journey to the throne of V.League 2020, the season in which he was honored with the title of Vietnam Silver Ball.

According to Mr. Do Manh Dung - Director of Viettel Sports Company, retaining Bui Tien Dung is an important part of the club's long-term development strategy.
