Sharing after 2 weeks of training at Thanh Long Sports Center (Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) with Vietnam U19 Women's Team, player Nguyen Thi Thuy Nhi said that coach Okiyama Masahiko is conveying good professional lessons to the whole team, very useful for young players in Vietnam U19 Women's Team in their professional football careers later on.

Talking about the training process in the recent past, Nguyen Thi Thuy Nhi said: "The team has been practicing together for about two weeks. During the training process, we tried to strengthen our physical foundation, practice more personal techniques and team tactics.

The young female player of the Hanoi Sports Training and Competition Center also shared that the whole team has been given maximum accommodation and training at Thanh Long Center in the past time to prepare for the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Football Championship.

Coming from the North, Thuy Nhi also encountered some difficulties with weather differences. "I practiced and lived in the North, so when I arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, the weather was a bit different. The morning is sunny and the afternoon is rainy, Nguyen Thi Thuy Nhi shared.

However, the exercises of head coach Okiyama Masahiko still create a lot of excitement and motivation for the players.

Speaking about the opponents in the upcoming Southeast Asian U19 tournament, a member of the Vietnam U19 Women's U19 team assessed Myanmar as the strongest opponent in the group stage.

The whole team is determined to always enter the competition with the highest determination to aim for the best results, Nguyen Thi Thuy Nhi affirmed.

From this week, the U19 women's team will have the addition of Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh from Thong Nhat Sports Center. This is a young player who was called up to the national women's team in 2024 and has just completed her journey with the Ho Chi Minh City women's team to compete in the Asian Women's Club Championship.

The players will continue to practice at Thanh Long Center before the coaching staff finalizes the final list to enter the official tournament starting from June 9.
