This morning (May 9), the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) held a draw ceremony for the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Football Tournament.
As a result, the Vietnam U19 women's team is in Group A with Myanmar, Laos and Timor Leste. Group B is a race between 4 teams: Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia and Malaysia.
According to the plan announced by the AFF, the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Championship will take place from June 9 to June 18, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City. The three stadiums used for matches include Thong Nhat Stadium, District 8 Stadium and Phu Tho Stadium.

The teams will compete in a round-robin format to calculate the ranking points in each group. The top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals, followed by the finals and the third-place match.
Since its first held in 2014, the tournament has become an important playground for regional youth women's football.
In this arena, the Vietnam U19 women's team has participated in the finals in 2014, 2022 and 2023 three times in a row, but still could not lift the championship trophy when they both finished as runners-up.
To prepare for this year's Southeast Asian U19 Women's U19 tournament, the Vietnam U19 Women's U19 team will officially gather and practice from May 12 at Thanh Long Sports Center (Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City).
With home advantage and attention and investment from the VFF, the Vietnam U19 women's team is having many advantages to aim for the highest goal.
