An unbelievable season
Viktor Le moved to Hong Linh Ha Tinh in February 2024 with little expectation. Coach Nguyen Thanh Cong needs more options for the midfield that is "overworked" and lacks "artists". Viktor Le plays skillfully but has little experience in V.League, his previous performance in Binh Dinh was somewhat lackluster.
In the first half of the season in Ha Tinh, Viktor Le played well, not exceptionally and at a level that "satisfied the requirements". But things gradually changed in the second season, when the Russian-Vietnamese player gradually caught up with the harshness in the V.League, he became an irreplaceable pillar.
Playing as a central midfielder, Viktor Le scored 2 goals and 3 passes to his teammates to score after 22 appearances. More importantly, this player brings incredible connection and movement to Hong Linh Ha Tinh's already dry midfield.
Hong Linh Ha Tinh's achievements this season have a great contribution from Viktor Le. After so much contributions and efforts to complete legal procedures, Viktor Le officially has Vietnamese nationality. Not long after that, the star born in 2003 was called up to U22 Vietnam.
From working experience to main character
Viktor Le was given a try in all matches at CFA Team China 2025. Initially, he appeared in the U22 Vietnam team with many doubts. People even expect Andrej Nguyen An Khanh - a player playing in Europe and having been called up to the U18 Czech Republic.
After that, Andrej An Khanh could not show much. It was Viktor Le who brought new material to the midfield of U22 Vietnam. The midfielder showed special ability to hold the ball and break through even though there was a strong opponent ahead. That will reduce the pressure on Nguyen Van Truong and Nguyen Thai Son.
Basically, it is Viktor Le's new energy that helps coach Dinh Hong Vinh gradually shape the framework for U22 Vietnam. At a time when U22 Vietnam cannot carry players over the age of the previous SEA Games, the role of those who have competed continuously in the V.League becomes even more important.
