On May 20, the authorities enforced against 8 households in Long Duc commune, Long Thanh district that had not yet handed over the site for the construction of component project 1 of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway (phase 1).
These are cases where the People's Committee of Long Thanh district has approved compensation, support and resettlement plans; issued enforcement decisions but has not yet handed over the site and has been propagandized and mobilized many times.

Previously, the Enforcement Board, based on Decision No. 857/QD-UBND dated May 17, 2025 of the Long Thanh District People's Committee, approved the plan to organize the implementation of compulsory land recovery, compulsory demolition of construction houses, and relocation of assets on the land to implement Component 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Construction Investment Project Phase 1, in Long Duc Commune, Long Thanh District.
According to the above plan, the authorities will enforce 12 households, including 2 households for compulsory land recovery and 10 households for compulsory demolition of houses, works, and relocation of assets on the land.
However, on May 18, leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Committee of Long Thanh district, along with agencies, departments, and organizations of the district organized a delegation to each household in Long Duc commune to campaign for the last time before carrying out the enforcement.
During the process of mobilizing, exchanging and persuading, 4 households agreed to hand over the land, while 8 households had to carry out enforcement.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project through Long Thanh district is about 28 km long, with a total area of nearly 228 hectares to be reclaimed, and 2,786 cases of land acquisition.
Up to now, Long Thanh district has cleared more than 99%.
