On June 6, according to the People's Committee of Long Thanh district, up to now, more than 1,700 households have been considered and resettled to implement the investment project to build the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, phase 1, through Long Thanh district.
Of the more than 1,700 households that have been considered and resettled, more than 800 households have been resettled, the rest are cases that are being reviewed for drawing lots, have not been approved or are not eligible. In addition, the locality has also approved a plan to support temporary housing for 367 cases with an amount of nearly 6 billion VND.
Regarding site handover, up to now, component project 1 has handed over 77.24 ha/77.91 ha reaching 99.14%; component project 2 has handed over 150.09 ha/150.09 ha reaching 100%. The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, the section through Bien Hoa City, has completed 100% of site clearance.
In Long Thanh district, 8/9 localities have handed over 100% of the site (An Phuoc commune, Loc An, Long An, Long Phuoc, Phuoc Thai, Tan Hiep, Phuoc Binh and Long Thanh town). Currently, there are 41 cases/0.67 hectares in Long Duc commune that have not yet handed over the site.
The total length of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway construction investment project, phase 1, passing through Long Thanh district is about 28 km with a total reclaimed area of 228 hectares, divided into 2 component projects.
Component project 1 has a total area of about 77.91 ha/902 plots of land recovered from organizations, households and individuals through Long An, Long Duc, An Phuoc, Loc An communes, Long Thanh town with a length of about 9.8 km.
Component project 2 has a total area of about 150.09 ha/1,720 plots of land recovered from organizations, households and individuals through Long An, Long Phuoc, Phuoc Thai, Tan Hiep, Phuoc Binh communes with a length of about 18.2 km.
