Cong Phuong also expressed regret that Binh Phuoc could not take advantage of the opportunities in the match against Hoang Anh Gia Lai.
He said: "Personally, I feel sorry that the team had many scoring opportunities but our players could not take advantage of them. Everyone tried their best to get a good result. Football has wins and losses. The whole team tried harder to focus on the remaining time."
After this match, Binh Phuoc will continue to prepare for the 2024-2025 First Division with the next opponent being Dong Nai club on January 19.
