On the evening of January 1, the VTV Awards ceremony took place in Hanoi, revealing the results of 9 award categories.
In particular, the Impressive Young Face award in the art field witnessed an equal competition between HIEUTHUHAI, RHYDER and Phuong My Chi.
The Impressive Young Faces in the Arts category nominates young artists who have made positive contributions and left their mark in the past year.
The initial list of nominees included Tran Tung Anh, Phuong My Chi, rapper Double2T, HIEUTHUHAI, RHYDER, director Dinh Ha Uyen Thu, and musician Hua Kim Tuyen. After the voting round, the top 3 included RHYDER, HIEUTHUHAi, and Phuong My Chi.
After that, in professional evaluation, RHYDER surpassed 2 opponents and won this category.
HIEUTHUHAI and RHYDER are the champion and runner-up of the show "Anh trai say hi" respectively. At the VTV Awards 2024, RHYDER had a breakthrough and surpassed HIEUTHUHAI.
Ahead of the awards ceremony, RHYDER shared: "I'm nervous and it feels like a dream. When I was nominated for the award, I was very happy. This is a memorable milestone in my career, a motivation for me to progress and be more creative in the future. No matter what the result is, I'm very happy."
In the cultural field, designer Phan Dang Hoang was honored. Athlete Nguyen Thi Huong won in the sports field.
The Impressive Young Faces category of VTV Awards - VTV Impression 2024 honors young talents (under 38 years old), evaluates their professional capacity, dedication and the positive values they bring to society.
This year’s impressive young faces are divided into three separate fields. In the cultural field, there are designer Phan Dang Hoang, painter Nguyen Xuan Lam and artisan Bui Van Tu. In the arts field, there are singer Phuong My Chi, rapper HIEUTHUHAI and singer RHYDER. In the sports field, there is recognition for soccer player Bui Hoang Viet Anh, rower Nguyen Thi Huong and billiard player Bao Phuong Vinh.
Sharing on stage to receive the award, designer Phan Dang Hoang affirmed that this is a great motivation for him and other young people of the Gen Z generation of Vietnam to continue to spread and bring images and cultural values of Vietnamese people closer to international friends, and at the same time, register Vietnam's name in more arenas.
