After the 14-0 victory of U17 Vietnam over U17 Northern Mariana Islands, coach Cristiano Roland gave many compliments to his players' performance and playing attitude.

He said that the whole team had followed the tactical plan set by the coaching staff, maintaining focus until the last minutes.
I am satisfied with the attitude of the U17 Vietnam players. The players have maintained the discipline and tactics as the team prepared for this match. The team has achieved its goal and now is the time to think about the next match.
I spoke to the players in the dressing room. I was really happy with the way the players played until the last minute. Manh Quan is one of the factors contributing to this victory," said the Brazilian coach.

Meanwhile, young striker Tran Manh Quynh still remains modest when evaluating himself. He shared: "The team played well. Personally, I have contributed 2 goals and 2 assists. But I found my finishing skills to be poor. I need to improve earlier to contribute more to the team.
I gathered later than my teammates at U17 Vietnam. But thanks to the encouragement of the coaching staff as well as the similar playing style to Hanoi, I was able to integrate faster".
Looking forward to preparing for the next match against U17 Hong Kong (China), coach Roland said that the challenge will be more difficult. He emphasized: "It will be a difficult match. Every match is a final. We will continue to analyze and evaluate the players to aim for the winning goal".
On the other side, coach Jireh Yobech of the Northern Mariana Islands U17 admitted that his team is at a disadvantage when facing the strongest opponents in the group.
Of course, these failures will affect the players spirit. But we soon anticipated the strength of Vietnam, Malaysia, Hong Kong (China). We will try to play against these teams. Perhaps, the group final will be a competition between Vietnam and Malaysia.
The Northern Mariana Islands are a fairly small area of land with limited resources. Some young people, after completing their studies, can go to other countries to start a business. In our capacity, we will try to nurture and develop young talents here," said Mr. Jireh.
