On the afternoon of August 2, the Vietnam Football Federation held the opening of the Training course for supervising referees and referees of national professional football tournaments 2025-2026.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hoi - Standing Member of the VFF Executive Committee hoped that referees and supervisors would focus more, strengthen their mettle, and practice their expertise to do well in the new season.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Van Phu - VFF General Secretary affirmed: "The General Secretariat always accompanies all referees and supervises referees. The goal of the training course is to improve the quality of match management. Referees and supervisors need to improve further, grasp the regulations as well as put themselves in many different situations to learn from experience and practice skills.
The training course is an important tool for referees and supervisors to prepare for the new 2025-2026 season. Finally, VFF always hopes that referees will act impartially, proactively, and resolutely in professional work on the field, thereby perfecting and improving the quality of the Vietnam professional football tournament".

In addition, at the ceremony, Mr. Dang Thanh Ha - Head of the Referees' Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation also announced that 6 referees will say goodbye to move to other roles due to age conditions.
Accordingly, referee Truong Duc Chien, on behalf of the above referees, thanked the VFF and VPF for their attention and encouragement in 20 years of participating in the management work at national championships.
