The U23 Vietnam team will participate in the 2026 U23 Asian Cup finals in January 2026.

The 2026 U23 Asian Cup finals will take place from January 6 to January 24, 2026 in Saudi Arabia, with the participation of 16 teams, divided into 4 groups, competing in a round-robin. The top two teams in each group will qualify for the quarter-finals.

According to the draw results, the U23 Vietnam team is in Group A with host Saudi Arabia - champion in 2022, Jordan and Kyrgyzstan - the team participating in an U23 Asian Cup finals for the first time.

This is considered a highly competitive group when gathering a championship candidate, an opponent with unpredictable playing style and a rookie eager to show off.

This is the 6th consecutive time the U23 Vietnam team has participated in the U23 Asian Cup Finals, after winning all 3 matches in Group C of the qualifiers, overcoming Bangladesh, Singapore and Yemen to take the top spot.

According to the scheduled match schedule, U23 Vietnam will meet U23 Jordan on January 7, 2026, meet U23 Kyrgyzstan on January 10, 2026, and meet U23 Saudi Arabia on January 13, 2026.
