According to VFF, right after arriving in Kuwait, the whole team quickly stabilized their accommodation and took a break to recover their physical condition before entering the first training session at Jleeb al-Shuyoukh Stadium.
The atmosphere of the training session was vibrant, with a focused and enthusiastic spirit, demonstrating the high determination of the players in the sprint phase preparing for the continental arena.
Today (September 10), VFF Vice President Tran Anh Tu was also present in Kuwait to directly inspect the living and training conditions of the team.
According to the plan, the Vietnam futsal team will have two international friendly matches with the host team Kuwait, taking place at 6:00 p.m. on September 11 (22:00 Vietnam time) and a rematch on September 13.
These are considered important tests for coach Diego Giustozzi to review the force, especially the adaptability of players who have just returned from injury, as well as adjust their tactics before entering the official tournament.
Notably, the Kuwait futsal team is currently led by Spanish coach Bruno Garcia - who left a strong impression on Vietnamese futsal when he helped the team qualify for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2016 finals in Colombia for the first time in history.
This makes the upcoming friendly matches even more meaningful, not only in terms of expertise but also an opportunity for the Vietnam futsal team to look back on the development journey in recent times.
