Vietnam women's futsal team in the same group as Iran in the Asian tournament

The Vietnamese women's futsal team fell into the group, which is considered quite easy in the final round of the 2025 Asian women's futsal tournament.

On the afternoon of February 6, the draw ceremony for the final round of the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship took place. With the achievement of winning Group D in the qualifying round and ranking 11th in the world, the Vietnamese women's futsal team is in the second seed group with the teams of Japan and Uzbekistan.

According to the draw results, the Vietnamese women's futsal team is in Group B with Iran, Hong Kong (China) and the Philippines. This is considered a fairly easy group for captain Thanh Hang and her teammates. Iran can be considered the biggest competitor of the Vietnamese women's futsal team in this group.

Meanwhile, Group A has the appearance of the host, China, Uzbekistan, Taiwan (China) and Australia. Group C includes the teams of Thailand, Japan, Indonesia and Bahrain.

The final round of the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship will take place in China from May 7 to 18. The two teams ranked first and second in each group will join the 2 third-placed teams with the best results in the 3 groups to qualify for the quarter-finals.

In this tournament, the Vietnamese women's futsal team aims to be in the top 3 teams to win tickets to the women's World Cup futsal.
