"The nature of this match is very important, almost the most important in 2025 for the team. Through the press, we know that Malaysia has some quality naturalized players.
Football in Southeast Asia now has many naturalized teams, we have to adapt to that, every opponent has to try.
The upcoming match of the Vietnam team will not be easy when playing at Bukit Jalil Stadium. The whole team is in good spirits, while actively preparing the final stages to be able to compete and get good results against Malaysia.
I think the coaching staff has studied information and parameters about the opponent through competition videos. After going to Malaysia, the coaching staff will review more carefully and let the whole team watch more video footage to make a reasonable strategy against the opponent," Duy Manh said.

Regarding the force situation, the Vietnam team will not have the services of Cong Phuong, Viet Anh, Thanh Binh due to injury. Quoc Viet, Van Toi, and Ly Duc are the three players who have been called up to supplement.
