Policy and digital transformation training for workers
Implementing the plan on coordinating legal propaganda for union members and workers in 2026, on May 14, the Federation of Labor (LĐLĐ) and Da Nang City Social Insurance organized a series of thematic conferences for nearly 600 workers of Da Nang Green Park Company. The event is divided into two phases in a day to ensure professional work at the unit but still create conditions for workers to participate fully.
At the conference, representatives of the City Labor Federation and experts from the City Social Insurance focused on disseminating and explaining in detail the regulations on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies. Mr. Van Phu Long - Head of the Propaganda and Support Department for Participants (Da Nang City Social Insurance) carefully analyzed sickness, maternity, occupational accident and pension regimes, and at the same time removed obstacles arising in the actual implementation of labor contracts.
In particular, within the framework of the program, speaker Nguyen Dinh The Bao specifically guided the updating of new regulations of the Law on Social Insurance and the Law on Health Insurance related to revenue management. The most important content is to guide workers to install and use the VssID application and how to integrate health insurance cards on the VNeID application. Promoting digital transformation in insurance work not only helps management agencies to ensure information transparency but also creates conditions for workers to directly supervise and look up their contribution and benefit processes. From there, workers raise awareness of law compliance and proactively protect their legitimate rights against changes in the labor market.
Expanding mobile counseling models at the grassroots level
In order to expand the coverage of voluntary social insurance and household health insurance, Thanh My Grassroots Social Insurance (Da Nang City) has coordinated to organize mobile consulting booths at the Nam Giang Regional Post Office. This is an area with a regular flow of people coming to transact, suitable for deploying social security policy propaganda.
At mobile counseling points, social insurance officials and post office staff directly dialogue and answer questions about contribution levels, contribution methods and benefits when participating in voluntary social insurance. This approach has eliminated the administrative procedure gap, helping people easily access the policies of the Party and the State. In particular, people are supported to install and guide the use of the VssID application right on the spot to monitor the participation process.
The effectiveness of the activity is affirmed through the fact that many people register to participate newly and connect to voluntary social insurance right at the booth. Bringing policies closer to people through mobile points has contributed to improving transparency and people's trust in the social security system. Thanh My Grassroots Social Insurance said that in the coming time, the unit will continue to replicate this model in remote and isolated areas, ensuring that insurance benefits are widely spread to all classes of people. The synchronous implementation of propaganda solutions in Da Nang not only helps complete targets on insurance coverage, but also affirms the role of trade union organizations and functional agencies in caring for life and ensuring sustainable social security for local people.
