On May 16, Mr. Bui Quoc Huan - Chairman of Lac Duong Commune People's Committee - said that the locality is coordinating with Lang Biang ward and related units to complete procedures to deploy repairs and overcome landslide points on Biduop road.

The total cost of repairing and overcoming landslides on this road is estimated at nearly 10 billion VND.
According to local authorities, after prolonged heavy rains at the end of 2025, many locations on Biduop road through Lang Biang ward - Da Lat and Lac Duong commune have experienced serious landslides, threatening traffic safety.
Records on the same day show that at the Biduop road section in Lang Biang ward - Da Lat, the negative taluy area was eroded for nearly 30m.

The ground surface has many large cracks, the road surface has subsided more than 1.5m deep, causing a part of the road to be heavily damaged.
Due to the landslide point eating deep into the road, functional agencies have stretched ropes to blockade and restrict vehicles from passing through the dangerous area.

On the negative taluy side, the concrete embankment system was broken and drifted into a deep abyss of nearly 10m. Some concrete pillars of the electrical system were also knocked down, and the guardrail was pushed off its original position.
Local people said that the landslide situation has appeared for many months but has not been completely overcome.

In recent inter-season rainy days, traffic through the route poses a higher risk of unsafety.
Meanwhile, the Biduop road section through Lac Duong commune also has a negative taluy landslide point stretching more than 20m.

The concrete roof reinforcing the taluy is cracked and broken, moving away from its position. Functional agencies have placed barriers and installed dangerous warning signs in this area.

Leaders of Lac Duong Commune People's Committee said that the locality is coordinating with relevant units to urgently complete procedures to soon deploy repairs and reinforcement of landslide points, ensuring safety for people and vehicles traveling on Biduop road.
