On January 19, Can Tho City Police announced that the unit had just organized a conference to summarize the work of the Trade Union, a meeting program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Thanks to the Party" and a shopping tour program "Tet Union Market" for the collective of the City Police Union members.
In 2024, the City Police Trade Union proactively innovated, focused on implementing many policies, welfare programs for union members, directed grassroots trade unions to promote patriotic emulation movements associated with the emulation movements "For national security", "People's Public Security learns and implements Uncle Ho's 6 teachings"...
Thereby, many models of caring for union members have been innovated and implemented effectively, meeting the needs and aspirations of union members, creating a strong spread, bringing economic efficiency of more than 700 million VND.
The "Adopted Trade Union Children" program is being implemented in the 2024 - 2028 period, helping 19 children of union members, soldiers, families with meritorious services, orphans and other disadvantaged children under 18 years old. The program has received support and high appreciation from Party committees and leaders at all levels.
With its achievements, the City Police Trade Union was honored to receive the Emulation Flag in 2024 from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the meeting "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Thanks to the Party", the City Police Trade Union presented 120 Tet gifts with a total value of 60 million VND to union members in difficult circumstances, those who had work accidents, serious illnesses, occupational diseases... with outstanding achievements in participating in Union activities.
The 2025 “Union Tet Market” includes 11 booths (including 2 “Zero-VND booths”) displaying and exchanging, buying and selling 25 essential consumer goods for Tet such as: Four Sacred Animals flower pots, ornamental flowers, cakes, fruits, soft drinks, eggs, rice, noodles, vegetables, etc. with a total value of 50 million VND. The event attracted 270 participants.
At the end of the event, the Organizing Committee awarded First, Second, Third and Encouragement prizes to the Trade Unions with the best display booths.
