On January 16, the Thot Not District Labor Federation held a meeting to present gifts to union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 with the theme "Happy Tet - Spring of gratitude to the Party". This is an activity to better care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
Thereby, promptly motivating and encouraging union members and employees to work with a high sense of responsibility and efficiency, improving labor productivity, product quality, uniting to build increasingly developed agencies, units and enterprises; strengthening trust and connection between union members and employees with the Trade Union organization; attracting employees to join the Vietnam Trade Union.
At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 245 Tet gifts to employees and workers in difficult circumstances working at enterprises in the district. Thereby, ensuring that all employees and workers have a joyful, meaningful, warm and united Tet.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also expressed gratitude and presented gifts to businesses that have accompanied the Trade Union, cared for the lives and ensured jobs for union members and workers in the past time.
Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Thot Not District Labor Federation Pham Kim Tuyen requested the Executive Board of the Trade Unions to proactively coordinate with relevant sectors to propose and give opinions to heads of agencies, units, and enterprises to build and have specific plans to take care of the lives and jobs of union members and workers, especially during the Lunar New Year 2025.
At the same time, units need to mobilize union members and workers to celebrate Tet safely, healthily, economically, ensure health and continue to return to the company to work after Tet effectively and with quality.
On the same day, the Can Tho City Labor Federation and the Thot Not District Labor Federation also visited, encouraged and gave Tet gifts to Mr. Bui Van Dung - a worker who had a work accident.
