Also in the week, on January 17, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung - Director of Hanoi Police - presented the decision to appoint two Colonels Nguyen Tien Dat - Chief of Staff and Nguyen Ngoc Quyen - Chief of Ha Dong District Police - to hold the position of Deputy Director of Hanoi Police.

In his acceptance speech, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen affirmed that he will continue to study and research; strive to improve himself, maintain his political stance, revolutionary ethics and spirit of serving the people. Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat promised to continue to promote solidarity, unity, sense of responsibility and discipline in the Standing Committee and Board of Directors.

On the same day, January 17, at the Guard Command (Ministry of Public Security), Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security - presented the decision of the Minister of Public Security to transfer and appoint Colonel Pham Thanh Hung - Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police - to take up the job and hold the position of Commander of the Guard Command.

Accordingly, on January 17, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Colonel Tran Xuan Anh - Director of Thai Binh Provincial Police - presented the decision to appoint Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thanh Tien - Head of Tien Hai District Police - to hold the position of Deputy Director of Thai Binh Provincial Police.
