On January 16, Thoi Lai District Labor Federation successfully organized the Conference to summarize union activities in 2024 and deploy directions and tasks for 2025.
Over the past year, the living conditions, employment and income of the majority of union members, workers and employees in the district have been relatively stable. Workers and employees are assured of the general care regimes of agencies and units, and employees in enterprises also enjoy timely and proper welfare regimes.
In particular, on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024, the Thoi Lai District Labor Federation directed trade unions at all levels in the district to promptly provide Tet gifts to union members and employees, ensuring that everyone has Tet.
The whole district has given away over 2,853 gifts, with a total amount of over 1,147,296,000 VND. Of which, the District Labor Federation gave away 250 gifts, with a total amount of over 178,000,000 VND.
With many outstanding achievements, the Standing Committee of Thoi Lai District Labor Federation has proactively concretized the targets assigned by the city and built programs and plans to assign targets to affiliated unions for implementation. The results achieved and exceeded 19/19 targets assigned by the city.
Identifying 2025 as the second year of great significance in implementing the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the 11th Congress of the Can Tho City General Confederation of Labor, the Standing Committee of the Thoi Lai District General Confederation of Labor will focus on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party.
Accordingly, the District Labor Federation continues to innovate its organization and operations in the new situation; digital transformation in communication and union member management; promote union activities, care for employees and workers in conjunction with performing professional tasks.
