During the delegation of the Vietnam Trade Union attending the Global Executive Committee Conference of the Industrial and Manufacturing Trade Unions Worldwide (IndustriALL) in Turkey, Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan - President of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union, representing the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union, met and exchanged with more than 200 Trade Union delegates from more than 50 countries and territories around the world.
Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan - President of Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union introduced to the President and Vice President of IndustriALL Trade Union about Vietnam Oil and Gas industry and Vietnam Oil and Gas workers.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union also expressed his wish to coordinate the organization of IndustriALL International Conferences in Vietnam in the coming years, and requested that IndustriALL Trade Union continue to support and sponsor seminars and training courses for Vietnam Trade Union officials, especially in the Oil and Gas, Industry and Trade and Coal - Minerals sectors.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union worked and exchanged delegations with leaders of the Asia-Pacific region, oil and gas, electricity and energy trade unions from all over the world. Thereby, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union affirmed its determination to build a sustainable cooperative relationship, creating favorable conditions for the exchange of knowledge and experience between the parties to improve the rights and working conditions for oil and gas and global energy workers, towards a sustainable and fair development of the energy industry, where the interests of workers are always put first.
