Attending were Ms. Truong Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Executive Committee of Petrovietnam Trade Union, Chairman of BSR Trade Union and more than 90 key trade union officials of BSR. This is the first training and fostering activity to implement the Resolution of the BSR Trade Union Congress for the term 2025-2030.
Speaking at the training class, Ms. Truong Thi Thu Ha emphasized that BSR Trade Union organizes a training conference and professional development for trade union work in 2026 in the context of the production and business situation of Petrovietnam in general, BSR in particular, and labor relations that are undergoing many profound changes.
This poses increasingly high requirements for trade union organizations, especially the team of trade union officials - those who directly implement and realize the role of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
In the new period, trade union officials not only need a sense of responsibility but also have comprehensive capacity, expertise, understanding of the law, and skills in dialogue, negotiation and handling situations arising in labor relations.
In particular, before the requirements of integration and digital transformation, each trade union official needs to proactively update knowledge and innovate operating methods to improve the effectiveness of representation. Grasping and timely applying legal regulations, guidelines and policies of the General Confederation and Petrovietnam Trade Union is a key factor to ensure that trade unions properly perform their functions and tasks, and at the same time enhance their position in the enterprise.
Therefore, organizing training and professional development programs is extremely important and urgent. This is not only an opportunity to update new knowledge and share practical experiences, but also contributes to building a team of professional trade union officials, capable of meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
The Chairman of BSR Trade Union expressed his belief that through training, each trade union official will raise awareness, improve skills, thereby making positive contributions to building a strong trade union organization, accompanying businesses for sustainable development and taking better care of employees.
