Of which, 58 new Trade Union Shelters were built with a total cost of 4.64 billion VND; 7 houses were repaired with a total cost of 280 million VND.
Since the first days of implementing the Trade Union Shelter program, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union has gradually improved and revised the process, procedures, documents and stages of approval and financial support for union members, from the time of the support decision to the acceptance and handover stages to ensure strict compliance with regulations.
Every year, in the programs of Tet Sum vay and Workers' Month, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union has integrated the activity of putting up the signboard of the Trade Union Shelter, and at the same time calling for support for the Fund. This is a form of propaganda and mobilization that has a wide influence among the staff, union members, and workers of the Oil and Gas sector and has achieved high effects.
In addition to the support money from the Trade Union Shelter housing program, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union also gave gifts to families whose union members were supported when surveying and installing the Trade Union Shelter housing sign.
At the same time, union members approved for support can mobilize additional financial resources from their families, borrow from banks under the poor household policy package, and from the grassroots trade union at their workplace to build and repair quality housing for long-term use.
