At the resettlement area of ​​the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project, a "death hole" appeared along with subsidence and long cracks, making people feel insecure and worried.

On December 16, speaking with Lao Dong reporter, Mr. Do Dinh Quy - Vice Chairman of Phu Luu Commune People's Committee (Ham Yen) said that a subsidence had just occurred in the resettlement area of ​​Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project. The incident created a deep hole, posing a potential safety risk to the people.

The phenomenon of subsidence and deep hole appeared on December 12, at the land plot in the resettlement area of ​​Mr. Ly Tien Dung's household. The affected area has an area of ​​about 6 square meters, a depth of 3.5 meters, with a crack extending across the concrete road with a length of 4 meters, located about 30 meters from the deep hole.

Immediately after the incident, Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son inspected the scene and directed specialized agencies to assess the current situation, determine the cause and propose timely solutions.

In addition, local authorities are required to increase supervision of the area and advise households to temporarily stop construction to ensure safety.
