A delegation of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union led by Mr. Do Duc Hung, Chairman, recently arrived in Quang Ninh to visit, encourage and present 100 million VND to the staff and workers of Power Transmission Company 1 (PTC1) who are performing the task of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 and floods. Accompanying the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Dang Thong - Chairman of the Trade Union of Power Transmission Company 2 also supported PTC1 workers with 30 million VND.
The working group also visited directly the workers working at pole number 15 of the 220kV Uong Bi - Yen Hung line - one of the pole positions that was severely affected.
At the construction site, Chairman of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union Do Duc Hung shared the difficulties and hardships of the workers; at the same time, he praised the spirit and determination to overcome difficulties to carry out the assigned tasks of the workers in the units, contributing to quickly overcoming the consequences caused by storm No. 3, soon providing electricity to serve local activities as well as people's lives.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union was very moved to meet many PTC1 workers who had just completed the task of supporting the construction of the 500kV Circuit 3 transmission line from Quang Trach to Pho Noi (energized on August 29, 2024), had just returned to their families not long ago, and now they were present at the hot spot of Quang Ninh to participate in supporting the repair of power transmission grid problems caused by natural disasters.
