On September 14, Mr. Le Quang Toan - Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor said that the Provincial Federation of Labor has just requested the Federations of Labor of districts, towns, cities; the Civil Servants' Union, the Provincial Industrial Parks' Union to mobilize support for people affected by storms and floods.
According to the leaders of the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor, responding to the Call of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Official Dispatch No. 2046/TLD-QHLD dated September 11 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on mobilizing support for people affected by storms and floods; promoting the tradition of solidarity, "mutual love", "the rich help the poor", with the spirit of "giving rice, sharing clothes" to join hands to help people in localities affected by storms and floods..., the Standing Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor requested that all levels of trade unions in the province call on and mobilize cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, and workers to uphold the spirit of solidarity, "mutual love" and actively participate in supporting, sharing, and helping materially and spiritually with people facing difficulties due to the impact of storms and floods to contribute to the Party and State to quickly restore production and stabilize people's lives.
Officials, union members, and workers participate in support, with the highest spirit, the level of support is at least 1 day's salary. Time of support: from September 10-30.
The amount of donations and support from union members and employees of provincial agencies, units and enterprises is transferred to the provincial "Relief" Fund at account number: 376.0.9003820.91049 at the State Treasury of Hung Yen province.
The amount of donations and support from subjects at the district, town and city level is transferred to the Mobilization Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the same level (according to local instructions).
"The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor requests the Federations of Labor of districts, cities, towns, the Trade Unions of Industrial Parks of the province, the Trade Union of Public Employees of the province... to deploy, implement and summarize the support results report to the Provincial Federation of Labor before October 5" - Mr. Le Quang Toan said.
