Accordingly, on the occasion of Workers' Month 2025, on May 30, a working delegation of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union (VTC) led by Ms. Nguyen Kim Thanh - Vice President of the VTC visited, encouraged and presented gifts to workers who are directly constructing at key projects: 500kV Vinh Yen Transformer Station and connecting lines project; Nghia Lo 220kV Substation and Nghia Lo - Viet Tri 220kV line project.
At the scene of Vinh Yen 500KV TBA project, representative of the Northern Electrical Project Management Board, Mr. Le Van Khai, said that the investment goal of Vinh Yen 500KV TBA project is increasing in the increasing demand for electricity supply in Vinh Phuc province; strengthen regional electrical system links, improve safety, reliability and stability in the operation of the national electricity system; The project will contribute to reducing the loss of transmission power, improving the production and business efficiency of EVNNPT.
The progress and scale of the construction of the TBA construction station of 500/220/35KV Vinh Yen includes 2 transformers (MBA) 900MVA (AT1, AT2); The line connection line 1 is built with a new 500kV 2-circuit line, about 2.1 km from Vinh Yen 500kV TBA to the position of T481-1 of the 500KV Son La-Hiep Hoa and Viet Tri-Hiep Hoa line; Paragraph 2, building a new 500kV 2 -circuit line, about 2.6 km long to the location of DN2 (G2.5) on the existing route.
The project's target progress is expected to be the energization of the 500kV Vinh Yen substation and the connecting line in June 2025.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Kim Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam Communist Party highly appreciated the spirit of overcoming difficulties and construction efforts of the units on the construction site in recent years. At the same time, emphasizing that, during the sprinting group, the finish of the workload was large, the progress was urgent, the units need to continue to maintain the vibrant emulation atmosphere, determined to put the project into proper operation and exceed schedule, ensuring enough supply of electricity for the North in the hot season in 2025.
The Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Trade Union also noted that construction units must absolutely comply with regulations on labor safety, ensure safety for workers and equipment, maintain construction quality, and contribute to completing the project on schedule and according to the set goals.
Also at the construction site of the projects, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Kim Thanh presented 10 gifts with a total value of 220 million VND to 10 units under construction at the site.
