In his opening speech, Mr. Do Duc Hung - Chairman of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union - said that it has become a tradition and an annual cultural beauty on the occasion of Workers' Month, Vietnam Electricity Trade Union organizes to honor direct workers in very simple labor positions but with great achievements, many outstanding initiatives and solutions, contributing to the development of the unit and Vietnam Electricity Group. These are shining examples in production, business activities and emulation movements of the unit and the group.

At the 1st National Conference on Commendation of Outstanding Workers as Party members of the Communist Party of Vietnam in 2025 organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 2 outstanding workers of EVN were honored.

In 2025, with the spirit of " Pioneering - Creative - Accompanying - Developing", the emulation movement "Creative Labor" and the "10 thousand Initiatives" Program will be a strong push to contribute to building a team of modern - intellectual - brave Electricity workers, making practical contributions to the development of EVN and the country in the spirit of Resolution No. 57/NQ-TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo - on "Breakthrough in developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation".

117 outstanding workers in the Electricity industry were recognized as people with qualifications, political qualities, strong ideology and pure ethics. Although working in many different units, outstanding workers all have in common the following: being dedicated to their profession and eager to contribute; being diligent in work, constantly improving their qualifications with the dream of bringing the best things to society. They are simple workers, enthusiastic, determined to strive to improve their work and life, and complete all tasks well.

The achievements of outstanding workers are a meaningful gift to welcome the 4th Party Congress of Vietnam Electricity Group, term 2025-2030.

One of the requirements... for the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union is to continue organizing emulation movements, closely linking production emulation with Party building in enterprises. Pay attention to discovering, training, and introducing outstanding union members to develop the Party - considering this a political responsibility of the Trade Union organization in participating in building a team of party members from direct workers.
