On May 4, Mr. Ha Trong Thang - Chairman of the Vietnam Railways Trade Union (VNR) said that the General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation and the Standing Committee of the VNR Trade Union have just issued a Joint Plan to implement solutions to ensure railway traffic safety; improve working and living conditions for union members and workers (UM, NLĐ)...
Leaders of the Vietnam Railways Trade Union said that currently, the work of improving working and living conditions for union members and workers has received close attention and direction from Party committees, professional departments, and trade unions at all levels; some units are very interested in investing in facilities, equipment and building a friendly, "Green - Clean - Beautiful" working environment, meeting the criteria in the "Regular - Cultural - Safe" movement...
However, there are still some units that have not really paid due attention, there is still a situation where some places serve union members and workers in general (collective areas, accommodation areas, public houses, train stations, routes, supply and demand, barriers, workshops...) have been built for a long time, have not been repaired or upgraded, so they do not meet current usage needs; causing adverse effects on the health, spirit of workers and the image of the Railway industry to customers and people.

Develop a plan and estimate funding for toilets and accommodations that need to be renovated and repaired as a basis for allocating reasonable financial resources for implementation.
In which, priority is given to using the unit's funds; at the same time, ensuring the main criteria, such as for accommodation, it must ensure safety (structure, electricity, fire and explosion safety...), sufficient usable area, bathroom, toilet, if arranged with a kitchen area serving workers, with green trees (implemented according to the Train and Flower Road movement), with clear regulations...
