Nearly 100 delegates from non-public grassroots trade unions attended the conference.
At the conference, delegates were informed and discussed by Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Oanh - Head of Legal Policy and Labor Relations, City Labor Federation - on two topics: Process of building, negotiating and signing Labor Agreements; democracy at the grassroots level in the workplace for non-public agencies and units.
The content of the topics is rich, both theoretical and oriented in leadership and direction, and also provides specific skills and methods in the practice of organizing and implementing democracy at the grassroots level.
It is known that the Law on Implementing Democracy at the Grassroots Level was passed by the 15th National Assembly at the 4th Session of the 15th National Assembly on November 10, 2022, effective from July 1, 2023, consisting of 6 chapters and 91 articles regulating the content and methods of implementing democracy at the grassroots level, the rights and obligations of citizens in implementing democracy at the grassroots level and the responsibilities of agencies, units, organizations and individuals in ensuring implementation.
