On January 20, the Vietnam Education Trade Union announced that a working delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Education Trade Union - presented Tet gifts in Lao Cai province.
In Lao Cai, the delegation presented Tet gifts to 15 teachers at Thai Nguyen University Branch in Lao Cai, with support ranging from 1-5 million VND; presented gifts to 30 students, with support ranging from 500,000 VND and in-kind gifts...
Previously, on January 19, a working delegation of the Vietnam Education Trade Union visited and presented gifts to teachers, workers and students of three schools: Hong Thu Kindergarten, Primary School and Secondary School, Sin Ho District, Lai Chau Province.
The total cash and gifts that the delegation of Vietnam Education Trade Union presented in Lai Chau and Lao Cai provinces was 903 million VND.
Since the beginning of December 2024, the Vietnam Education Trade Union has organized many delegations to visit and support union members and workers.
“More than ever, Tet is the time when the trade union organization needs to share. We visit, encourage each other, send good wishes to look forward to good things and believe that there will be new changes with the education sector and the country. We do not consider this as support, but consider this as a New Year's greeting from the Vietnam Education Trade Union to representatives of teachers and workers,” said Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An - Chairman of the Vietnam Education Trade Union.
Up to now, regarding the care for Tet At Ty 2025, Vietnam Education Trade Union has supported 3,790 union members and 58 units under Vietnam Education Trade Union.
The total support amount is 4.2 billion VND (from the Trade Union's financial resources) and 907 million VND from socialized sources of sponsors, universities, etc.
