The principles of "Fast", "Short" and "Deep", "Clear
Mr. Mai Le Loi - Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines said that propaganda and education work to raise awareness, political bravery, class consciousness, national spirit, contributing to building a modern and strong contingent of workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) in the maritime industry is being focused on and promoted by Trade Union levels.
Accordingly, the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines continues to innovate content, diversify forms and methods of propaganda, education, and mobilization of union members and workers (NLĐ).
Notably, the Trade Union organization promotes digitization, connecting and using communication materials in cyberspace, digital platforms according to the principles of "Fast", "Short" and "Deep", "Clear". Through this, employees can easily access and understand correctly the contents being propagated, contributing to improving the effectiveness of dissemination about the Trade Union organization and activities, the Party's viewpoints and guidelines, and the State's policies and laws.
Along with innovating propaganda methods, the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines improves the quality and efficiency of organizing propaganda activities on the occasion of major holidays, important political and historical events of the Party, the country, the Vietnam Trade Union organization and the maritime industry.
These activities contribute to helping union members and workers to have a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the Party, regime, working class and Trade Union organization; encouraging patriotism, national pride, civic consciousness and social responsibility of workers and employees.
At the same time, union members and employees are raised in understanding, awareness of respecting and complying with the law; building and promoting corporate culture and the tradition of "Dynamic, civilized, and compassionate" of employees in the Maritime industry.
The Corporation's Trade Union sets a target to ensure that the annual target is over 75% of union members being propagated and disseminated laws. Along with that, trade union levels pay attention to listening to and accurately grasping the ideological developments of port workers, logistics workers, officers and marine crew members at sea.
Combining tradition with digital platform
According to Mr. Mai Le Loi, in recent years, Trade Union levels of Vietnam National Shipping Lines have actively innovated communication methods, harmoniously combining traditional and modern forms.
Traditional forms such as oral propaganda, using banners, visual propaganda slogans... continue to be maintained. For the specific nature of labor at sea, the Trade Union also installs communication systems on ships, creating conditions for officers and crew members to access information.
In parallel with that is the promotion of modern media channels such as websites, fanpages, Zalo groups, YouTube...
Besides the website, the General Corporation Trade Union effectively maintains the Fanpage on the social network Facebook with tens of thousands of followers. News and articles about Trade Union activities, emulation movements, good people, good deeds are updated regularly, thereby creating a positive spread among union members, workers and the whole society.
Mr. Mai Le Loi shared that to improve the effectiveness of communication work, the Corporation's Trade Union also focuses on building a network of Trade Union officials and collaborators working in communication work; and at the same time promotes training and development of propaganda skills for the Trade Union official team.
The combination of traditional propaganda methods with digital platforms is expected to help Trade Union information get closer to each group of workers, especially those working in special environments such as seaports, logistics, officers and sailors at sea.
