This is an opportunity for the Trade Union of Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC) to express deep gratitude to the team of officers and crew members - the workers who are day and night sticking to the sea, directly operating the fleet, contributing to maintaining logistics operations, ensuring smooth global sea transport and trade activities.
Speaking at the visit, leaders of the Corporation's Trade Union emphasized that the crew member profession is a special profession with many difficulties, pressures and risks. Not only constantly facing storms, harsh weather conditions, and high work intensity, but officers and crew members also have to accept the special character of being away from their families for a long time, exchanging many personal benefits to complete their tasks.
Although working in a difficult and challenging environment, the team of officers and crew members of the Corporation still always shows steadfast bravery, discipline, professional style and high responsibility, maintaining safe and effective sea routes, making important contributions to the business results of the enterprise and the overall development of Vietnam National Shipping Lines.
During the program, leaders of the Corporation's Trade Union directly met and listened to the thoughts, aspirations, and recommendations of officers and crew members related to working conditions, welfare regimes, material and spiritual life. For issues under their authority, the working delegation exchanged and proposed timely solutions; and at the same time recorded recommendations that need a roadmap for research, coordination with professionals and businesses to find long-term and sustainable solutions.
Leaders of the Corporation's Trade Union affirmed that, in all circumstances, the Corporation's Trade Union will always accompany employees, especially officers and crew members; continue to promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of employees; ensure that regimes, policies, and welfare are implemented promptly, practically, and effectively.
In addition, the leaders of the Corporation's Trade Union also wished that each officer and crew member would constantly promote the spirit of innovation, creativity, proactively learn, improve professional qualifications, professional skills, foreign languages and adaptability to the increasing requirements of the sea transport industry in the context of digital transformation, green transformation and international integration.
Leaders also conveyed to officers and crew members the views of the Party Committee, Board of Directors, and Executive Board of Vietnam National Shipping Lines on building and implementing corporate culture throughout the VIMC system.
In which, for the maritime transport block, it is the desire to build a model of the VIMC Cultural Ship with a team of disciplined - professional - civilized - and compassionate sailors.
Each officer and crew member is the "VIMC Cultural Ambassadors" on each ship, together building a civilized, united, and professional working environment.
This is not only a factor contributing to building a beautiful image of VIMC crew members, but also an important foundation to enhance the reputation, brand and competitiveness of enterprises in the domestic and international sea transport markets.
