At the Conference of Chairmen of Trade Unions in the Northern and Southern regions recently organized by the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, according to reports from units and the shipping sector, which are facing many difficulties due to the impact of geopolitical and economic factors in the world, while units in the port and maritime service sector, although facing certain difficulties, are still ensuring the implementation of the set production and business plan.
Most units still ensure jobs, wages, benefits and benefits for union members and workers. The movement of workers and civil servants, Trade Union activities organized and implemented by grassroots trade unions in the first 9 months of the year were basically selected to suit the reality of the unit, with new ways of doing things that have properly, accurately and promptly met the aspirations and wishes of union members and workers, and accompanied businesses to promote production and business efficiency.
An important content of the Conference is to organize the Congress at the grassroots level according to the schedule directed by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor as October 31, 2025. In response to the proposals and recommendations of grassroots union officials, the leaders of the Corporation's Trade Union have guided the methods for units to refer to organize the Trade Union Congress in accordance with the reality of the enterprise, and at the same time pledged that the Corporation's Trade Union will accompany and provide maximum support for units to successfully organize the grassroots Trade Union Congress in accordance with regulations.
At the Conference, Mr. Mai Le Loi - Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines emphasized the key tasks in the fourth quarter of 2025.
