Hanoi The Vietnam National Shipping Lines Trade Union has just coordinated to visit and present support to the people of Hue.

Accordingly, the working delegation of Vietnam National Shipping Lines and the Corporation's Trade Union led by Mr. Pham Van Hai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice President of the Corporation's Trade Union visited and presented support to Hue City and 3 wards and communes of the locality that were heavily damaged by storms and floods.

Mr. Pham Van Hai said that, having heard that natural disasters and floods have caused heavy damage to the people of Hue City in the first days of November, the leaders of Vietnam National Shipping Lines have decided to donate 500 million VND to join hands with the City and people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

The delegation also visited, shared, and presented support to Thuy Xuan ward, Kim Tra ward, and Quang Dien commune - 3 places that suffered heavy damage due to storms and floods in terms of people, infrastructure, production situation, and property of the locality and people, each locality received 50 million VND. The amount of 150 million VND donated to these 3 wards and communes was taken from the contributions of cadres, union members, and workers of units inside and outside the Corporation.
