Attending the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen Canh Tinh - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation; Le Anh Son - Deputy Party Committee Secretary, General Director of the Corporation, Doan Thi Thu Huong - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Corporation, Mai Le Loi - Chairman of the Trade Union of the Corporation and leaders, officers, employees of the Corporation's Office and enterprises in the Ocean Park Building - headquarters of Vietnam Maritime Corporation.

Speaking at the Program, Mr. Nguyen Canh Tinh said that with the spirit of "Mutual love and support", national love, compatriotism, "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" of the Vietnamese people, the culture of " Enthusiasm, civilization, and love" of the Maritime people, responding to the launch of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, implementing the direction of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, the General Director and the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines unanimously called on each cadre and employee at enterprises under the Corporation and enterprises with trade unions under the Corporation's Trade Union to contribute to support people affected by storm No. 10 with the goal of 1 day's salary for social insurance contributions. The deadline for donating is October 15, 2025.

In particular, at the Program, in addition to making donations and supports, Mr. Nguyen Canh Tinh called on each VIMC officer and employee with all resources, all means, and all forms to join hands to support, share, and help people in localities affected by storm No. 10 to quickly overcome difficulties and have resources to quickly overcome the damage caused by storms and floods to stabilize their lives.
All the money raised by officers and employees of the units from now until October 15 will be transferred by Vietnam National Shipping Lines and the Corporation's Trade Union to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to organize activities to directly, promptly, appropriately and practically support people in provinces and cities heavily affected by storms and floods.
